The Book Club at Emerald Lake in Punta Gorda, Florida, graciously welcomed me, my husband, David and my parents, Dwain and Jan Paige. I spoke about my book, The Silver Crescent, and the story behind it. My dad read the Prologue and David read the beginning of my newest manuscript, His Magic Touch. The Book Club put out a wonderful array of desserts afterward. I would like to thank everyone for their hospitality. This was my first speaking engagement as an author.
